A simple photo recipe for step-by-step cooking of a delicious fried halibut in a pan is described below.
Servings Per Container: 3 Servings.
Step-by-step instruction
Halibut in a pan is a delicious fish dish, which in this recipe with a photo is cooked in flour breadcrumbs and served with a spicy sauce of avocado, tomato and lemon. You can use both fresh and frozen steaks for home cooking, but halibut will turn out to be more juicy if you take fresh fish.
You don't need to cook the halibut properly (about 10 minutes on each side), but if the pieces are too large, the cooking time may increase.
The dish can be eaten by both adults and children, as the halibut is not very bony.
Step 1
You need to prepare food for the sauce. Take a lemon and peel it. Use a sharp knife to separate the slices of pulp as shown in the photo so that there is no bitterness in the sauce.

Step 2
Peel the avocado, remove the pit and rinse the fruit under running water, and then cut into small pieces.

Step 3
Rinse the tomatoes under running water, and then make intersecting cuts at the base of the fruit. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, and then carefully peel off the skin with a small knife. Cut the peeled tomatoes into several pieces. Place avocado, lemon wedges and tomatoes in a blender bowl, salt to taste, pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil. You can add any spices if desired. Grind food until smooth. Put the prepared sauce in the refrigerator.

Step 4
Rinse halibut steaks, pat dry with a kitchen paper towel. Rub the fish with salt and other spices as desired. Pour flour into a flat container. Put a piece of fish in the flour first on one side and then on the other. There should not be a lot of breading, a thin layer, no more.

Step 5
Place the pan on the stove and brush the bottom with vegetable oil using a silicone brush. When the pan is hot, place the steaks and fry on each side over medium heat for 10 minutes (until golden brown). Then transfer the pieces to a paper towel and let sit for a couple of minutes. Fried halibut in a pan in flour is ready. Serve the fish to the table along with the sauce, you can decorate the dish with fresh herbs. Enjoy your meal!
