Having been running for over 10 years, I faced many challenges. And motorists who do not know traffic rules and stop at pedestrian crossings, which is why they have to run around them, breaking the rhythm. AND wild heat, in which the body simply refuses to show a good result.
But the problem that is always topical and that cannot be eliminated in our country is dogs. Dogs are very fond of runners and cyclists. But if the latter can easily reach speeds of more than 50 km / h and practically no dog can catch up with him, then runners are much more difficult.
The maximum speed of a person in the region of 40 km / h was shown by its Olympic champion. The average person never dreamed of such speed, so it will not work to run away from dogs, at least from large ones, not from dwarfs. Therefore, dogs are a real problem for runners.
From experience I can say that all dogs are divided primarily into two types - with and without an owner. Dogs are not people. They don't rush for no reason. Their actions are always justified by protection.
Therefore, a dog without an owner and not near its possessions, for example a house or a summer cottage, very rarely reacts to moving objects. She just walks and enjoys life.
But if the dog is with the owner, then it has someone to protect and to whom to show off, so that later it will be praised. Therefore, such dogs are the most terrible, since they have a real reason to attack a moving object, which, in their opinion, can harm the owner.
In this case, the dog is doing its job. But the owners who walk their pets without a leash and muzzle outside the dog parks, you don't even know how to call it nicer. Such people have no understanding of animals. And the majority do not have brains either.
Such owners can easily walk the German Shepherd without a leash and muzzle. And when she runs with a grin at you, the owner shouts 50 meters away from you that she does not bite.
As a result, not really believing the idiot who walks the dog without a leash and muzzle, but believing in the huge teeth and grin of the dog, you have to stop and wait for the fate. Thank God, during the entire run, the big dogs never bit me. Usually, when you face such a dog, it also stops and a duel begins with your eyes. You stand with your back to her, and that's it, it will bite you for sure. You will run. It won't get better. And so you stand there, "butt" with her eyes, hating in the thoughts of the owner, and wait for his fat belly to finally reach and take his dog.
And when this body crawls, it always says the same thing, that she just wanted to play. After that, you begin to doubt the adequacy of such people. Sometimes you want to run to such a person with a bat and an angry expression on his face and see his reaction. And if he starts to run away, then catch up and yell in the trail that I just want to play rounders with you.
Agree, in the case of a dog it looks exactly the same.
Therefore, when a dog is without an owner and does not protect anything, then it is better to just run around it, or hope that it still walks not near its house and will not react to you. When a dog without a leash and a muzzle walks with its owner, then you need to understand that in 80 percent of cases it will react to the runner. Therefore, it is best to just either walk past or run away from sin.
And if a dog without an owner is small, then you can run past such a dog, because even if it does chase, you can just scare it off with a cry or a stone. Anything. They are afraid of everything. But if a small dog goes with the owner, then it becomes fearless. And when such a mongrel grabs your heel, then do not be surprised, it is she who plays with you. And if you kick her at the same time, then be prepared for the owner to accuse you of beating his dog. Therefore, it is better to hit the owner immediately. It's a joke, of course. But I would really like to see real fines issued for walking dogs without a leash and muzzle, and not like now. This law seems to exist. But the police don't care about it, so few people follow it.
As a result, it is better to run around large dogs or walk past them. It is better to run around small dogs if they go with their owners. They are not terrible without owners.
P.S. My dream is to have a dog and run with it. Of course, the dog will be muzzled and on a leash. I wanted a German shepherd, but it needs a lot of space. So now I'm thinking about what kind of dog you can get so that she likes to run.
