Due to the fact that a tourist trip within the framework of the TRP standards is a very non-standard physical test, experts spent a lot of time on its thorough study. This format is very relevant, because now the period of holidays and school holidays has come. In this regard, on the territory of the Ruzsky district of the Moscow region, a specialized site was created to check the normative indicators when passing tourist routes. In addition, a special seminar was held for regional judges, which raised issues related to the aspects of conducting such tourist trials.
According to the organizers of this event, it attracted a lot of seriously interested people.
The established standards of this competition are very difficult, they require a certain serious preparation from the competitors and organizers. The agreed tourist competition route came out very compact, it was created taking into account the required skills, which are tested when being on a tourist trip. The judges of the competition worked on the creation of the route, at the same time working on the formation of criteria for evaluating each stage.
The competitors had to climb the mountain with a rope, pass the test of tying special nodal connections, determine the azimuth, make fires, go through windbreaks, swamps, and also ravines along a small log. In addition, the participants had to demonstrate their first aid skills, both in theory and in practice.
Among the participants of the event were residents of the Ruzsky district, as well as the nearest settlements of the Moscow region. The youngest participant in this trip was a 10-year-old schoolboy, while the oldest was over fifty.
According to the organizers, this competition is only a trial one. The main task of this event was to gain experience both for the competitors and for its creators, because before that such competitions had not yet been held on the territory of the Moscow Region.
Taking into account the fact that recommendations for the standard for the passage of a tourist route appeared quite recently, this TRP standard is a real novelty for everyone. In this regard, the main focus of this competition was on the training of judges, who in the future will be actively involved in judging similar tests. Each judge had the opportunity to take part in the formation of the competition route. In addition, all the judges became participants in the seminar, where all issues related to the intricacies of judging such competitions were considered. All judges jointly tried to sort out the difficulties and problems encountered in the process of judging. To get a more complete picture, each judge had the opportunity to independently go through the entire competition route or some of its separate sections.
In general, 150 judges representing testing centers near Moscow were present at this competition as part of the TRP festival.
The organizers were amazed at the activity of the participants, because they were all seriously interested in all aspects of this competition. The test turned out to be very interesting, because in its essence it has some similarities with OBZH lessons, as well as with orienteering on the ground. All participants were able to test their physical and theoretical training, as well as their ability to quickly respond to unforeseen situations.
The process of organizing such a competition is fraught with certain difficulties. This is due to the fact that the organizers needed to establish close contact with representatives of the Ministry of Education, as well as attract a large number of children.
The main task of the creators of the competition was to provide the necessary conditions for all participants to test their own skills. The use of a compact competition route has become a kind of alternative to the standard two-day trials. Such a decision is directly related to the high risks to the health and life of the children taking part in this trip.
The route formed by the organizers of the tourist festival became an excellent test for all participants, who not only were able to study their own abilities and skills while passing the tests, but also got a chance to fulfill the designated TRP standards.
