Step-by-step instruction
Stuffed tomatoes with minced meat is a very appetizing dish that can be quickly and easily prepared at home. The good thing about the recipe is that you can change the ingredients as you like. For example, you can take minced meat and pork, and beef, and chicken, and turkey. You can also add different vegetables and spices to taste. We have prepared a recipe for you with a photo. Read it carefully and start cooking.
Step 1
First you need to prepare the rice. Measure out the required amount of cereal, rinse under running water, pour into a saucepan and fill with water. Usually, one glass of rice uses two glasses of water. Salt the cereal and boil it until tender.

Step 3
Place a large, wide container on the stove (you can use a heavy-bottomed saucepan). Pour olive oil into a container, heat it a little and pour the chopped onion into a saucepan. Pass the garlic through a press and also send it to the container to the onion. Saute vegetables over low heat.

Step 6
When you have removed the caps from all the tomatoes, you need to clean out the pulp and seeds so that there is room for the meat filling. Do this carefully, try not to break the vegetable so that the molds remain intact when baking.

Step 7
Do not throw out the pulp and seeds of tomatoes, but chop with a knife. A little later, all this will come in handy.

Step 8
In the meantime, the rice should have already boiled, and you can start preparing the filling for the tomatoes. In one container, mix the minced meat, fried with onions and garlic, rice and tomato pulp with the seeds. Stir well and taste with salt. If not enough, add a little more salt. Add your favorite spices too.

Step 9
Take a wide mold and line it with parchment. Take a prepared tomato and stuff it with the prepared filling. Sprinkle with fresh herbs or grated cheese on top.
Advice! Cover all the stuffed tomatoes with a tomato "lid": this way the serving will be more effective.

Step 10
Send the dish to the oven for 30-40 minutes. Don't worry about the tomatoes cracking a little during baking. This will not affect the taste and appearance. Stuffed tomatoes baked in the oven are delicious both hot and cold. The dish turns out to be hearty, as it consists of meat and porridge, and vegetables emphasize the taste. Enjoy your meal!
