A quick-to-prepare step-by-step photo recipe for a delicious watermelon dessert with dark chocolate and almonds is described below.

Servings Per Container: 8 Servings.

Step-by-step instruction

Watermelon dessert is a delicious summer dish that can be added to the diet by people who follow the correct and healthy diet, as well as those who are on a diet. On average, one slice of a finished dessert by weight does not exceed 100 g, so it can be eaten without fear for the figure in the morning.

You can pour watermelon slices not with melted dark chocolate, but with home-made icing.

You can not add coconut flakes, limiting yourself to walnut flakes. Pink salt will give the dessert an unusual flavor, as it will create an interesting combination of sweet and salty. In the absence of the necessary product in this simple recipe with a photo, it is allowed to replace pink sea salt.

Step 1

Take a watermelon, rinse the rind thoroughly under running water, wipe it with a kitchen towel and cut the berry in half. Cut half of the watermelon into 2 more pieces. One quarter is enough to make dessert.

Step 2

Cut a slice of berries along a quarter, and then cut each slice into 3 equal parts. Choose slices from the middle for a juicier dessert. If the watermelon is small, then cut the slices into 2 pieces.

Step 3

Use a sharp, thin-nosed knife to make small holes in the center of the rind of each piece of watermelon. Take wooden sticks. Each triangle of watermelon must be strung on a stick, as shown in the photo. Break a bar of dark chocolate, fold into a deep container and melt in a water bath. Pour the chocolate into a special bottle with a thin spout. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and then arrange the slices of the watermelon so that the slices do not touch each other. Pour melted chocolate evenly over all the berry slices. If you don't have a bottle, you can pour over the watermelon using a small spoon.

Step 4

Sprinkle some almonds and coconut on top of the chocolate, and on top toss a couple of nuggets of pink salt. A delicious and healthy watermelon dessert is ready. You can eat the dish immediately after the chocolate has cooled to room temperature, or send the baking sheet to the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. For the dessert to taste like ice cream, the baking sheet must be placed in the freezer for 10-20 minutes, depending on the power. Enjoy your meal!
