Which is more efficient, running or walking

In addition, running helps to improve the functioning of the lungs and all internal organs in general. People who regularly run are less likely to get viral diseases, and if they do get sick, the healing process lasts much faster.

Running perfectly strengthens the legs, abdominal muscles, buttocks. Improves metabolism and burns excess visceral (internal) fat, which is the cause of many diseases, including diabetes.

But running has a clear drawback. And it consists in a negative effect on the knee joints. However, here, too, not everything is so simple. That is, for avid joggers and professional athletes. To improve health, 30 minutes of jogging several times a week will be enough. Everything that is written above about running can be attributed to walking. Regular walking also strengthens the heart and lungs. They have an excellent effect on metabolism and strengthening the immune system. Walking for an hour a day can reduce the risk of catching a cold by several times.
