As with any other innovations, the introduction of the standards of the "Ready for Labor and Defense" complex did not go without problems with the organization. Despite the fact that the delivery of standards is voluntary, at school students are forced to take part in this, claiming that the student is obliged to do this. Many parents complain that they cannot understand whether it is obligatory to register on the TRP website, if the organizers themselves claim that this is voluntary. 
What is the reason for the discrepancy?
The fact is that as an additional motivation, a decree was adopted, according to which merits in these competitions are counted as additional points for admission to universities and other educational institutions. In addition, each school needs to fulfill a certain norm and provide a list of the required number of people who agreed to register. At least for these two reasons, teachers scare children and their parents by ordering every single one to register on the TRP website before such and such a date and claim that otherwise their children will not go anywhere.

So is it necessary to register a child in the TRP? Remember that no one included passing the standards of the "Ready for Labor and Defense" complex in the number of mandatory tests like the Unified State Exam!
If you are required to register, find out why you should. After all, first of all, it is embarrassing what registration obliges - to participate in competitions, that is, to pass sports standards, for which not all children are ready. That is, no one has the right to force you!
However, one can look at this issue from the other side. Is registration on the TRP RU website obligatory in principle? Yes, if you really want to get involved. Without registration and assignment of an ID number, you will not be able to give a well-deserved medal. Nevertheless, if you do not have the opportunity to use the Internet and a computer, then you can fill out the corresponding questionnaire offline in one of the Testing Centers of the VFSK TRP.
