If you take a quick look at the standards for physical education for grade 3, it becomes clear that today in schools great attention is paid to the physical education of children. If we compare with the parameters for grade 2, it is clear that the level of difficulty in all disciplines has grown noticeably, and new exercises have also been added. Of course, the scores for boys differ from scores to delivery for girls.
Disciplines of physical culture, grade 3
Before studying the standards for physical education for grade 3 for boys and girls, let's look at which disciplines are becoming mandatory this year:
- Running - 30 m, 1000 m (time is not taken into account);
- Shuttle run (3 p. 10 m);
- Jumping - in length from a place, in height with step over;
- Rope exercises;
- Pull-ups on the bar;
- Throwing a tennis ball;
- Multiple hops;
- Press - lifting the body from a supine position;
- Pistols are supported on one hand, on the right and left legs.
Lessons are held three times a week for one academic hour. As you can see, in the 3rd grade in 2019, exercises with pistols and throwing a tennis ball were added to the standards for physical culture (however, the latter was present in the tables for first graders).
Note that the standards for physical education for grade 3 for girls are somewhat easier than for boys, and young ladies should not take the exercise "Pulling up on the bar". But they have more difficult indicators in "Jumping rope" and exercise on "Press".
According to the Federal State Educational Standard, the positive influence of sports on the psychological, physical and social health of a child is manifested in his successful study, adaptation in the school environment, the development of skills for health-saving procedures (exercise, hardening, control of physical processes), as well as in the desire to maintain a correct lifestyle.
Correlation with the standards of the TRP stage 2
The current third-grader is a cheerful nine-year-old who enjoys playing sports and easily overcomes school standards. In our country, the active development of sports and physical training is facilitated by the successful promotion of the "Ready for Labor and Defense" Complex.
- This is a program for passing sports tests, broken down into 11 steps, depending on the age of the participants. Interestingly, there is no upper age bracket!
- A student of the third grade passes the standards for passing the 2nd stage, the age range of which is 9-10 years. If the child has systematically trained, carried out the correct preparation, and also has a grade 1 badge, new tests will not seem overly difficult to him.
- For each level passed, the participant receives a corporate badge - gold, silver or bronze, depending on the results issued.
Consider the table of TRP norms, compare it with the school standards for physical education for grade 3 according to the Federal State Educational Standard, and draw conclusions whether the school is preparing to pass the Complex tests:
- bronze badge | - silver badge | - gold badge |
Please note: out of 10 tests, the child must pass the first 4, the remaining 6 are given to choose from. To get a gold badge, you need to pass 8 standards, silver or bronze - 7.
Does the school prepare for the TRP?
So, what conclusions can be drawn from the study of the indicators of both tables?
- According to school rules, the 1 km cross is not counted in time - it is enough to simply complete it. To get the TRP badge, this is a mandatory exercise, with clear standards.
- 30m running, shuttle running and hanging pull-ups in both tables are rated approximately the same (there are slight differences in both directions);
- It will be much more difficult for a child to pass the TRP test for throwing a ball and lifting the body from a supine position. But it's easier to jump in length from a place.
- Pay attention to the school standards for grade 3 in physical education: jump ropes, multi-jumps, squats, exercises with pistols and high jumps in the tasks of the TRP Complex are not.
- But they have other, no less difficult tests: bending and extending the arms in a prone position, running 60 m, bending forward from a standing position on the floor from the bench level, long jump from a run, cross-country skiing, swimming.
Thus, in our opinion, the differences in the tables are quite strong, which means that if a school seeks to increase the level of sports development of students, it should supplement its table of standards with disciplines that overlap with the TRP. This is necessary so that all children can easily pass the tests of the "Ready for Labor and Defense" Complex, grade 2, already in grade 3.
