Question number 1. How long does it take to prepare for passing the 3 km standard?

It all depends on your initial results. But in general, you can prepare for a month and pass almost any standard for running perfectly.

The most I can recommend is L-carnitine, BCAAs and other amino acids before training. This will give an additional flow of energy.

Everything will depend on how correctly you approach the construction of the training program, because if you just run the same distance at the same pace every day, there will be little effect. And plus, it is advisable to follow the proper nutrition program. In general, if you unequivocally answer this question, then yes - you can lose weight by jogging. But you need to know the nuances.
