What to take with you on a bike trip to nature

What could be better than a short weekend bike ride to nature with friends. However, to really enjoy a picnic by the lake or on the edge, you need to take the basic things that you will definitely need.

Picnic food

Of course, first of all, you need to take food. It is very good to make a salad outdoors in summer, so be sure to take tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs and other ingredients. Don't forget the salad dressing. It is better to take whole vegetables with you, and cut them already in nature.

If you don't have time to bother with kebabs, the easiest way is to take sausages or bacon and fry them over a fire. It will taste just as good. And it is not necessary to take skewers for pork pork, ordinary sticks with a pointed end will do.

Take a cauldron for boiling water. Also, do not forget about spoons, a knife, tea sugar, tea leaves and disposable dishes.

From this it follows that we must take water as well. If it's hot outside, count on about 2-3 liters per person. Ideally, it is better to freeze water in the refrigerator at home. Then, upon arrival at the place, it will be still cold.

If you go to a river or pond, you can take a water filter and filter the river water.

Tools

Many novice cycling enthusiasts forget to take with them on the road bike repair tools... In addition to the main problems of the bicycle, which are more often associated with punctured wheels, a number of other problems may arise: figure eight, loosening of bolts, breakage of pedals, etc. Therefore, always have a repair kit for rubber and a set of keys and hexagons with you. Do not forget that if there is even a repair of alloy wheels for cars, which seems to be almost impossible to damage, then what can we say about wheels and other parts of the bicycle.

Clothing

Depending on the weather conditions, you need to stock up on a raincoat, windbreaker, long pants and a turtleneck just in case. Also, wear goggles and cycling gloves. This will make it easier to drive in any weather. A headdress, especially in the scorching sun, also does not hurt.

Remember to bring a blanket to sit on and lay out your food.

Other

This point includes things and objects that are also very necessary on any trip, but do not belong to the above.

Be sure to take matches with you to make a fire. Money, if some problem suddenly happens and you have to call a taxi or buy something in the nearest settlement.

A flashlight, in case you don't have time to return before dark, and a first aid kit with a basic set of drugs just in case.

In general, this can be called the main arsenal necessary for a normal rest.
