You can stew meat with any mushrooms and vegetables, for example, you can use cauliflower or broccoli. This recipe uses chicken stock, which must be prepared beforehand. But this liquid can be replaced with water: this way you reduce the calorie content of the dish, and it will turn out to be dietary. Step 1
First you need to prepare all the products. Chicken legs must be washed under running water and patted dry with a towel. Put vegetables, herbs and spices on the table so that they are at hand. When everything is ready, you can start cooking.

The chicken legs must be divided into two parts. You should get the thigh and lower leg separately. These portions will be convenient to serve.

Now peel the onions and carrots. Cut vegetables into small cubes. Peel sweet bell peppers from seeds and cut into small pieces as well.

Take a skillet, pour olive oil and place on the stove. When the oil is hot, add the diced vegetables to the skillet. Fry them until half cooked and transfer to another bowl.

Place the chicken in the pan where the vegetables were just fried. Fry the meat until golden brown on all sides.

The meat fried in olive oil must be transferred to a deep and wide saucepan. Send the fried vegetables there.

Now we need to prepare the tomatoes. They must be peeled off. To make it easier, pour boiling water over the tomatoes and leave for 3-5 minutes. After that, peel the tomatoes and cut the vegetables into small cubes.

Send chopped tomatoes to a saucepan with chicken and vegetables. Pour all ingredients with broth and put on fire. Season with salt to taste. The meat will not be stewed for long, only 20-30 minutes, since it is almost ready.
Advice! Check the readiness of the meat with a fork or knife: if the appliance enters easily and blood does not come out, then the dish is ready.
While the dish is stewing, you can prepare the parsley and hot pepper. Wash the food well under running water and chop finely.
