Tomato and radish salad is a delicious dietary dish that can be quickly prepared at home according to the step-by-step recipe below with a photo. In addition to tomatoes and radishes, the salad contains cucumbers, red bell peppers and green onions.

You can fill the dish with any vegetable oil, but if you use olive oil, the taste of the salad will become many times better and the benefits for the body will increase.

The salad can be eaten at any time of the day, since the dish is low in calories and contains a small amount of carbohydrates. If desired, lettuce leaves can be replaced with spinach without loss of taste. In addition to salt, you can add other spices to taste. You can also diversify the dish with fresh lemon juice.

Step 1

Rinse lettuce leaves thoroughly under running water, shake off excess moisture. Use a sharp knife to cut the leaves into small strips or simply pick them up with your hands.

Step 2

Wash the radishes, and then remove the tail on one side and the dense part of the base on the other. If in some places the skin is damaged, then carefully cut it off. Cut the vegetables into rounds of about the same size.

Wash the bell pepper, cut in half, remove the seeds and tail. After that, cut the vegetable lengthwise into thin strips, as shown in the photo.

Rinse the green onions well, remove the film from the white part, cut off the rhizome. Tear off dried feather tips if necessary. Cut the onion into small pieces.

Step 5

Rinse the tomatoes under cold water and then cut them into thin slices. After that, carefully remove the dense base and cut the slices in half or in quarters.

Take a deep bowl and add all the chopped food. Season with olive oil, salt to taste and mix thoroughly with two spoons so as not to crush the tomatoes. A delicious salad of tomatoes and radishes with cucumbers and onions is ready. Serve immediately after cooking. Enjoy your meal!
