A quick recipe with step-by-step photos of making citrus lemonade with mint without cooking is described below.

Servings Per Container: 4 Servings.

Step-by-step instruction

Citrus Lemonade is a delicious cool summer drink that you can whip up at home without boiling. The drink is served cold, so you can safely use ice. To make a drink, in addition to citrus fruits (orange, lemon, tangerine and lime), it is recommended to use a variety of aromatic herbs, namely mint, rosemary or basil.

Granulated sugar is optional in this simple recipe, as the orange will give the drink enough sweetness, but people who don't like sour lemonade can add an extra sweetener.

The most suitable serving utensils are jars or tall glasses with transparent walls.

Step 1

Take fruit and rinse thoroughly under running water. If there is any damage on the skin, then you need to carefully cut off a piece. If you wish, you can pour boiling water over the fruit to get rid of the bitterness. Cut the orange, lime and lemon into thin slices. Wash the ginger root and cut 3-4 slices.

Step 2

Peel the tangerine and divide into wedges. Take 4 jars with handles or any other container such as glasses. Fill them with slices of all citrus fruits in any number and combination. Half of the circles must first be crushed so that they let the juice out. You can make one glass lemon-orange and the other just lime. Wash fresh mint leaves, basil and rosemary sprigs. Dry the greens and add a couple of leaves to each jar, and then, according to the same principle, put the ginger circles. Squeeze a slice (or two) of tangerine into each container. Fill the containers with purified water. If you want to add sugar, you can pour it directly into the water before pouring it into containers, or pour it into each glass separately.

Step 3

Leave the water to infuse for 15-20 minutes in a cold place. It is not recommended to infuse the drink for more than 1 hour, as the peel will begin to taste very bitter. After the specified time, the delicious citrus lemonade is ready. Top up the drink with colored straws and ice cubes. Enjoy your meal!
