Lentil puree soup is a delicious, low-calorie dish that you can easily prepare yourself at home. The dietary soup is based on chicken broth and red lentils. Rely on your own tastes and desires. If you want to make a lean vegetarian meal, use a vegetable broth. Below is a simple step-by-step photo recipe that will help you make a nutritious paprika puree soup suitable for PPs. From inventory, you will need a blender or mixer.
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients of the dish. Measure out the right amount of red lentils, paprika, and tomato paste. Pour the broth into a decanter (for convenience), wash the carrots and herbs.

Step 2
Take an onion and peel it, rinse the vegetable in cold water and cut into medium-sized cubes. In order not to watery eyes while cutting onions, in addition to the vegetable, also wet the knife. Peel the carrots, cut the base with the herbs and cut the vegetable into cubes about the same size as the onion.

Step 3
Place a deep saucepan on the stove, pour some olive oil or any vegetable oil on the bottom (you can even put a piece of butter). Arrange the chopped carrots and onions, mix well and sprinkle with paprika. Fry over low heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour the vegetable or chicken broth into the workpiece in a thin stream. If you salted the broth while cooking, you don't need to add more salt. If not, add salt and pepper now.

Step 6
Place tomato paste in a saucepan with the other ingredients. Stir well, wait for the billet to boil, close the lid and simmer over low heat until the lentil grains are soft (about 15-20 minutes).

While the lentils are cooking, tackle the tomatoes. Wash, cut off the tight part of the vegetable's attachment to the stem and cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
You can leave the peel, but if you have a few minutes of free time, then it is better to scald the tomatoes with boiling water and peel the skin before cutting the vegetable.
Put chopped tomatoes in a saucepan, stir thoroughly, wait until it boils, then reduce heat and continue cooking for 5-7 minutes.

After the specified time, try the soup, if necessary, salt or pepper again. Remove from heat and let stand for a couple of minutes. Transfer to a blender bowl or puree directly in a saucepan. You should get a homogeneous mass, similar in consistency to liquidish mashed potatoes.
