Tarragon lemonade - step by step recipe at home

Lemonade "Tarhun" is a fragrant refreshing drink that is familiar to many from childhood. It is very simple to prepare it at home. A self-made drink is not only tasty, but also healthy.

Step-by-step instruction

Homemade lemonade "Tarhun" refreshes and adds strength in hot weather better than store lemonade. The drink strengthens the immune and nervous system, and also helps to reduce appetite, which is especially important for those who are on a diet.

It's best to use fresh tarragon to make lemonade, as it has more benefits. But, if there is no herb at home, you can try replacing the main ingredient with a dried one (the taste may not be as intense).

It will take a little time to make a drink at home. Use a simple recipe with step-by-step photos, and then cooking will go smoothly.

Step 1

First you need to prepare the tarragon. Rinse the herb under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Now you need to separate the leaves from the stem.

To make the drink tasty, you need to prepare the syrup. To do this, take a saucepan, pour 2 cups (500 milliliters) of water into it and add granulated sugar. Stir well and place on the stove over low heat.

When the syrup warms a little and the sugar dissolves, you can add the tarragon leaves to the saucepan. Products must be boiled for 5-7 minutes.

The resulting syrup, along with the tarragon leaves, should be transferred to a blender container and chopped.

Step 5

Now take a bowl, place a sieve on it and put the chopped mass into it. Strain the syrup thoroughly, squeeze the leaves to get more liquid.

Step 6

Take lemons and wash them under running water. Now cut the citrus fruits in half and squeeze the juice out. If you have an automatic juicer, you can use it.

Step 7

Pour lemon juice into a container and then add mineral water. You can take water with gas, then the drink will very much resemble a store drink. Add tarragon syrup to the resulting liquid.

Step 8

Now the finished lemonade must be refrigerated for several hours, or ice can be added. Add a few sprigs of tarragon and lemon wedges before serving. Everything, "Tarhun", cooked with your own hands at home, is ready. Enjoy your meal.
