Hello dear readers. Today I want to tell you how you can combine work and training, using the example of how I combined writing a diploma in the 5th year of university, working as a journalist and running training.
Very often you have to deal with people who complain about the lack of energy and time for jogging... However, more often than not, this is just an excuse for your laziness. In fact, it turns out that everyone has enough time, only lack of desire and attitude. This is what the article will talk about - how best to build your day and include training in it, even if at first glance there is not enough time for it.
So, when I was at university, there was always enough time for training. But when the moment of writing the diploma came, then I had to look for opportunities for training, since the diploma took up almost all of my time. Especially considering the fact that I also worked in parallel. Of course, if I decided to order a diploma, there would be a lot of time left. But still I preferred to write it myself.
I was very actively preparing for military service. Therefore, I decided that I would definitely include training in my day.
The study, work and training schedule presented the following picture:
- Wake up at 7.30 am.
- Morning exercises 10-15 minutes. In my morning exercises, I included the usual exercises for stretching the muscles and warming up the body.
- 8.00 - breakfast
- By 9.00 I ran to work. I literally ran. Before work, a light run was about half an hour.
- At 13.00 at lunchtime, I spent half an hour at gym, fortunately, he was in the same building where I worked. As a result, for an hour of lunch I had time to work out, take a shower and eat. This is absolutely real. In general, at lunchtime, I always tried to do a little workout at any job. Of course, if the work is connected with physical labor, then it is better to rest. But if you are an office worker, then almost everyone can change clothes and make a 20 minute run.
- At 17.00 after the end of the working day, I ran home.
- Until 19.00 I ate, took a shower, rested from physical exertion.
- From 19.00 to 22.00 I was engaged in work with a diploma. Once an hour, I devoted 5 minutes to push-ups or pull-ups. To unload the head and change the mental load to physical. This is great for keeping you focused.
- I went to bed at 23.00.
As a result, with this mode of the day, I managed to run for 1 hour every day, devoted 30 minutes to strength training in the gym, spent 3 hours writing a diploma, and at least one hour a day from 18.00 to 19.00 I was just resting. Plus, sleep was given at least 8 hours.
Such a schedule cannot be called easy, but it cannot be called super-heavy either. You get used to it pretty quickly.
Depending on your workload, the schedule may be more gentle. For example, after graduating from university I worked as an electrician. Before work it was about 3 km... In the morning I ran to work directly. And I returned back along a long path, which was 9 km. As a result, I did not spend money on the road, devoted time to training and did not spend separate time on them. At the same time, he did not accumulate fatigue, since he did not train and did not work on weekends.
Therefore, if there is a desire and most importantly running target and training, you can always find time and energy for this, of course, if you do not work as a miner.
