Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is another representative of the unique polyunsaturated fatty acids of the Omega family that are not produced in the human body. It is an isomer of linoleic acid, which is also essential for health. But CLA is distinguished by its ability to block the accumulation of subcutaneous fat and the development of tumors, and prevent cancer. Its entry into the gastrointestinal tract reduces the synthesis of ghrelin (a hormone responsible for satiety), which eliminates the feeling of hunger.
