Step-by-step instruction

It doesn't take long to make quinoa with tomatoes and herbs at home. The huge advantage of the dish is its low calorie content and undoubted benefits. Quinoa is more easily absorbed by the body than other grains, and at the same time gives a feeling of fullness. In addition, cereals contain a huge amount of useful substances, for example, riboflavin, pyridoxine, thiamine, as well as selenium, potassium, magnesium, manganese and others. Do not put off cooking for too long. Use a step-by-step recipe with a photo.

Step 1

Before boiling the quinoa, it is best to add cool water and let sit for 20 minutes. After that, the water must be drained, and the cereals must be rinsed under running water. Transfer the quinoa to a container and cover with water in a 1: 2 ratio, respectively. Season with a little salt and place the pot on the stove over medium heat. While the grits are cooking, prepare the spinach. It should be washed under running water and chopped finely, then added to the quinoa saucepan. When the porridge is ready, turn off the heat and set the pot aside for a while.

Step 2

Now take a baking dish, line it with parchment and brush a little with olive oil. Wash the tomatoes and cut off the tops; remove all the pulp.

Advice! The pulp should not be thrown away. It can be added to salad or porridge. Just do not use too much tomato, as it gives sourness, and the dish may turn out to be tasteless.

Step 3

Fill the quinoa tomatoes with spinach and place in the oven. Bake the dish for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle with grated cheese 10 minutes before cooking.
